Sebastian Sauerborn

Advice from someone who has done it himself

Sebastian was born in Freiburg, Germany, and left in 2000. Since then he has lived and worked in Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States, Malta, Ireland and Scotland. In each of those countries he set up and ran businesses, opened the banking relationships they needed, moved his family, found schools, dealt with local counsel and kept the companies running through it all.

That is the through-line of the firm. The clients who come to STM Corporate Group are about to do something Sebastian has already done, repeatedly and in several countries. The advice is operational rather than theoretical: what needs to be in place, in which order, with which documents, who has to sign and what the bank or the regulator will ask. Where a matter needs a licensed professional, he knows which one and why.

Over around 25 years he has advised entrepreneurs, company owners and private clients on international corporate structuring, cross-border banking relationships and international relocation. He founded STM Corporate Group to bring that work under one roof for US clients and for clients across Europe, Asia and Latin America. He also founded Mount Bonnell Advisors, and holds interests in media production and investment companies.

He lives with his fiancée and their three children.
